2001 Ford F-150 Lariat 8Cyl4.6L - Engine
Runs a little rough on acceleration, check engine light on but no trouble codes.
My truck runs a little rough and hesitates occasionally when starting off but I show no codes when I run OBD test. Is this related to EGR or sensors? How about exhaust O2 sensors or catalytic converter? I want to start changing cheapest parts first. The check engine light is on and returns after I clear codes. There is a 1000 code error which says drive cycle not completed. If I go through drive cycle will this do any good?

You can try a cheap fix first, by putting in some Lucas Gas Additive. It's about $10.00 for a 32 oz. bottle or small bottle for about $3-$4 . Follow directions on bottle. Should be able to get it at any Auto Parts Store.
