  Not sure I understand question? Does the vehicle run? If the engine runs, you have rpms. Are you talking about a gage on the dash?

  we changed distributor in car before we did it gauge worked as soon as he changed distributor car started fine but now it dont start again only starts sometimes or intermittent ... is there loose wire??bad or wrong distributor ???

  That is an interference engine, If valve timing isn't correct, you could have engine damage? Hopefully not. Do you have compression?

  the car starts n drives but then sometimes it won't start not sure
