Do I need to replace my radiator?
My boyfriend replaced the thermostat with a Auto Zone thermostat, we replaced the water pump, belts and pulleys, and just replaced the fan clutch yesterday.......We took it for a test drive and turned the ac on high everything was okay for about 10-15 minutes. Then it started to overheat. It also seems that it overheats easier at slower speeds, on the freeway it takes more time, city streets it overheats quickly. What should I do next we are very frustrated!!!!

HouseCallAuto 6/13/2010There is a special refilling procedure for the cooling system in the Frontier. You still have air trapped in the system and it will be trial and error, heating up and cooling to get the air out. The dealer uses a $200 tool which places the cooling system in a vacuum before fiilling the system.
