2010 Nissan Xterra S 6Cyl4.0L - Preventive Maintenance

Replace the fuel filter?

Owners' Manual states that the filter is maintenance free and contained within the gas tank. Doesn't sound correct to me. Is there a replaceable, in-line filter? Thanks.

  fuel filter is inside the tank, part of the sending unit. You do not need to change it.
