2002 BMW 745Li Base 8Cyl4.4L - Body & Interior

Anything I should know trying to remove headlight assembly - driver side, to replace control unit that is beneath.

I have never done it before.

  Yeah, have fun ;) Just kidding. Its not too bad. You'll have to partially remove the bumper skin on that side and I think 4-6 bolts for the assembly. Remove the bolts from the headlight housing first and it should move forward about 1/2 inch or so till it hits the bumper. Then remove the bolts for the bumper on that side only and move it only enough to remove the headlight.
