  It can be but I do not think you should because your ride will not be the same and you will not save any money. You can buy either the coil spring conversion or a new *pair* of air springs here >> I have bought from them many times. >> www.Strutmasters.com

  Yes you can but it will change the feel of the ride. I replaced my whole system; bags, driers, hoses and compressor for less than a thousand dollars and it feels real good.
