  Scan the vehicle for fault codes. Get a code reader from Amazon.com for less than &21.00 dollars.

  1. Check the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor or circuit loose connections.
  2. Check the radiator fan, unplug the fan connector and apply a 12 volts direct to ensure their function.
  3.The powertrain control module ?
