Can I put a 2006 m45 hood on a 2009 m35x

I was planning on getting a used 06 M45 Hood but I was wondering If I could install it on my 09 M35x without doing any alterations.

  Yes it will, the only difference is the engine size. Thus the name M45 and M35. the model year is from 05-10 from the Y50 chassis.

  Yeah but I thought that in 08 they had a facelift on the infiniti's that didn't affect the hood ?
