HouseCallAuto 9/25/20121. Check for power on terminal 87 of the fuel pump relay socket in the under-hood electrical center. If none, check the fuel pump fuse. The fuel pump relay is the 3rd one over from the end of the radiator. wire colors are Orange, Gray, Green / White, Black / White this is the only relay with these color wires.Update the post with further details after you check.
2. Check for power on terminal 86 for 2 seconds when the key is cycled on (the key must be off for 10 seconds first).
3. Apply 12 volts to terminal 30 with a fused jumper wire. This should energize the fuel pump.
4. Check for ground on terminal 85. If there is no ground, check the ground in the engine compartment, left of the starter, along with battery ground.
5. If all of the above tests are good, replace the fuel pump relay.
The pin numbers are stamped into the relay. The connector by the fuel tank is known for corrosion issues.
