2000 Chevrolet Blazer LT 6Cyl4.3L - Preventive Maintenance

I have no power to the a/c compressor,all the fuses & relays are good...could it be the low pressure switch

can i unplug it off the big coffee can looking canister & use a paper clip to see if the compressor comes on ??

  A low in the refrigerant won't kick the low pressure switch and activated the compressor. Check the A/C low side pressure, it must be between 25 -35 psi.
