1985 Buick Somerset Regal Limited 4Cyl2.5L - Engine

After pouring gas into TBI throat will engine start and run normally for about 30 sec to 1 min engine dies Why?

The car has 94,000 mi and I just changed the fuel filter. I disconnected the fuel line to the TBI and no gas flows while cranking. Car has been garaged 3 years and ran fine before that.

  fuel pump needs replaced ,check fuses first

  try seeing if fuel injector valve need replaced

  Had fuel pump replaced and gasoline got to the throttle body. Still wouldn't crank. Injector will be placed tomorrow!

  Update: I replaced the fuel filter...had shop replace fuel pump. Strainer and feed tube were clogged with tar! Injector replacement is tomorrow.
