1999 Chevrolet Blazer LS 6Cyl4.3L - Steering & Suspension
I have back and forth play in my steering wheel is there a adjustment anywhere to tighten it up
I've replace both upper and lower ball joints both front hubs all the inner and outer tie rods. as well as the idler and pitman arm. Still have the play. I believe this vehicle was wrecked before I bought due to one headlight lense looks cleaner and newer than the other. Could it be the steering gear? What the chance the intermediate shaft is causeing it? Please help at a lost and tired of spending money. the truck has 91000K on it standard size tires

The steering gear box has an adjustment screw in it, look up on you tube on how to adjust it!..
be careful tough if you do it improperly it will break entirely!!

The Gm boxes are known for having play... ask any person you know that has a 90s gm truck they just wear out.
