pin in frame, need help

hit a bump, and feel and hear a knock in the front of car.

  When do you notice the knock? when going over bumps or does it happen all the time now? You're going to want to get it checked out, but the knock is probably a steering or suspension component that has come loose from the bump, possibly a steering linkage, axle, tie rod, or ball joint. Bounce the bumper at each corner of the front of the vehicle and see if you can make the noise happen start narrowing down which side it is then check that side,
