Should I pay to have my transmission fixed?
My transmission on my car is going horrible, I can not afford to by another call but I can afford to possibly have a new tranmission installed in my car. Would getting a new transmission be worth it or would it just cost more then the care worth. Anyone know any auto places that can do transmission work for cheaper then usual

HouseCallAuto 5/7/2010Yes it is worth it. The transmission replacement may cost $2000 (approx). With the transmission broken down, the car has a very low value. But if you can drive it for 3 more years after replacing the trans that is worth it at about $60 a month
