Which O 2 sensor is the Bank 1 sensor? Before or after the converter?

It was diagnosed as a Bank 1 faulty O 2 sensor. Is that before or after the converter?

  This engine has only one bank because it is an inline engine and not a V engine. There is bank one sensor 1 (before the cat) and there is bank one sensor 2 (after the cat) The title of the code will state that.
