1999 Honda Civic DX 4Cyl1.6L - Engine

Multipal cylinder misfire.

Car shows multipal cylinder misfire only when it rains. After car warms up starts to misfire out of control.Also this has happened in the car wash but has only thru the multipal cylinder misfire code once. Have gave car a complete tune up. Installed plugs,wires,cap,button,fuel filter,air filter,timing belt.Car has 117.000 miles.

  I see many confirmed fixes of random misfires and regular misfires caused by a bad distributor. These cars all had been tuned up prior to that as well. A weak ignition coil can do it also. I say try the coil. Use a genuine Honda part for the coil and not aftermarket. If it still does it, replace the distributor. The distributor might not come with a coil so you will have the new one.
