Car does run fine so I don't think I need a tune up yet.
BmwAutoParts.com 12/5/2012make sure you change all the cam and crank seals . alternator mounting bracket rubber bushings , oil sending switch, and check the fan clutch , i have all the parts you need OE or after market.
Desi 12/5/2012If I am person who is short on funds , I would go by the following order.
1.First and foremost have the timing belt replaced if you are not sure when the last replacement was done. Its one thing part that can screw your engine totally if it fails ( alteast have it inspected for any visible damage/Wear n tear )
2.Inspect the brake pads and replace only if worn out.
3. Same for the belts and hoses , inspect the belts and Hoses for visual damage. if in bad condition then replace.
4. Water pump and Thermostats can be left untouched if they are working fine.
5. Changing all the Fluids - Yes that is a good thing to do. Also keep a note on the dates/ miles you changed them so you know exactly when to change them next.
