Less than 20k miles. I shut the engine off and the sound continued. I removed the key; opened the hood. I can hear the thumping outside behind engine but definitely louder in cab. Sounds like something is beating against something. I drove about 3 miles. It stopped after a mile and then started up again when I parked. Again, it continued for some time (30 sec) after engine shut off and key removed.
