location of oil pump/how to replace it?

when running,it says stop engine oil pressure.

  The oil pump is inside the oil pan. To take the oil pan off, you may need to raise the engine. Oil pump failures are very rare in a BMW. It may be worth it to go to a dealer and pay the $80/hr for a complete diagnosis. It could be just a bad sensor. If you hear no unusual light tapping from the engine, it could just be the sensor.
