  Hi Tony,
  The price will reflect what needs to be done for the repair. Will the heads be sent out to the machine shop? Are they cracked and need replacment? Are you supplying your own parts? There are many options and different ways to handle the repair. I suggest a second opinion before putting big bucks into the repair. Unless the car has personal value, the cost of repair might outweigh the cars resale value.

  Thank you Audra for answering me.I certainly will follow your advice! I guess Joe thinks his comment is pretty funny. I'm a recent widow stuck with a car I must try to keep going and not a lot of money to do it with! Better TWO Head Gaskets as far as $$$ is concerned, I'll admit. Thanks again.

  4-cylinder car,1 head gasket.6-cylinder car,v8,etc. multiple head gaskets.
