2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LS 4Cyl2.2L - Transmissions & Drivetrains
What is the cause of this jerky/sticky feeling when I'm driving?
I noticed this problem a few months back. I am not quite sure if it's a transmission issue or not, but whenever I start to cruise say in the 25-30 mph range, without accelerating, and the RPM gage arrow is right inbetween the 1 and 2, I notice the arrow starts to fluctuate back and forth and the car kinda feels like it's rocking. It seems to be getting a little worse now and instead of rocking kinda feels jerky or stuck. I have around 60k miles on my car and I had the transmission fluid flushed about 7000 miles ago. My oil is freshly changed as of about a month and a half ago. I don't know if this has anything to do with it but I did notice the problem started after I drove my car from Washington to Arizona. I know this is not normal but I'd like to know before I head to the shop so that they don't try to take advantage of me. I'm a 24 year old blond. Hahaha.
