1994 Ford Thunderbird LX 8Cyl4.6L - Transmissions & Drivetrains

will the jerking&leaking stop,if i change the seal&oil/filter out? what are the possible repairs and their costs?

my car a has leak in the transmission between the motor and transmission. it leaks transmission fluild.

  not really common to leak transmission fluid at that spot, usually that is oil from the rear main seal of the engine. But if it is transmission fluid, what would be leaking is the torque converter, which would explain some transmission jerking also. but this is no easy fix or quick job this could be a bad transmission or torque converter $$
