Jimm 2/1/2013Double-check the alternator wiring, the connections. Next, check the battery terminal connections - plus make sure the negative cable connection - opposite the battery is clean and tight. Then check the drive belt and belt tensioner - make sure the tensioner is not faulty / has proper tension on the belt. -
HouseCallAuto 2/1/2013Check and confirm if there is no battery voltage at the heavy wire that attaches to the rear of the alternator. If no battery voltage there then there is a burnt open fusible link. The fuse links are located near the starter relay on the driver side inner fender.
Travis.Young10 2/2/2013Thank You for the advice. One more question, what do the fuse links look like, and are they contained in anything?
Travis.Young10 2/3/2013Thank You so much for the photos, I really appreciate your help. I'll take a long look today for the links, i believe there are 3 in the circuit.
Travis.Young10 2/4/2013Hi there, I was wondering if you could help me locate the Starter Relay, It's not where the diagram i have shows, near the driver's side fender. Also, I have a starter solenoid, does that mean i don't have a starter relay?
