Jimm 2/1/2013Double-check the alternator wiring, the connections. Next, check the battery terminal connections - plus make sure the negative cable connection - opposite the battery is clean and tight. Then check the drive belt and belt tensioner - make sure the tensioner is not faulty / has proper tension on the belt.
HouseCallAuto 2/1/2013Check and confirm if there is no battery voltage at the heavy wire that attaches to the rear of the alternator. If no battery voltage there then there is a burnt open fusible link. The fuse links are located near the starter relay on the driver side inner fender.
