What is usually the indicator that your Neutral Safety Switch is going bad?
Lastnight I went to start my car, and it would not turn over. Allthe lights and other electricals were working properly however it would not start. After calling a family member i was instructed to put the cr in neutral then in park and try to start it and it worked. i am having to do this each time a start my car up. I was told by a Dodge ealer that my vehicle does not have a Neutrla Safety Switch, so what could this be? My car has 86,680 miles on it. It just starting occuring about 12midnight lastnight. There is a red light that comes on near the gas gauge when this occurs. There are no other warning lights on. the car did this without notice, no stalling, no noise nothing.
