2009 Hyundai Sonata GLS 4Cyl2.4L - Preventive Maintenance
What is included with the 60,000 mile matinence on my car?
I am due to have the 60,000 mile matienence done and I was told all of the fluids had to be flushed, and the front brake pads needed to be replaced and I was wondering what is that called when all of the fluids need to be flushed?

Follow the recommended maintenance guide and the list of items as shown in the vehciles' owners or maintenance manual for the 60k service - use this as your checklist. The fluid flush is to be avoided - as the best alternative is a fluid change - to include the filter (as applicable), for example the transmission or engine oil and filter change.

An exception might be the cooling system flush (cleaning) and refill - this fluid exchange using a flush and chemical cleaner is actually worthwhile.
Fluid flush procedures are not as effective in removing residual dirt and is not as thorough cleaning as compared to the fluid and filter change - especially regarding the engine. Be careful where the service is performed, and do the research / homework before you pay.
