Humming sound goes away when turning left

Currently my car has a speed sensitive humming noise that seems to be coming from the front left tire. It does go away when turning left only. Any help on what it could be would be greatly appreciated.

  sounds like a bad wheel bearing jack the front end of the car up and spin the wheel with ur hands even check it for play but i am sure its going to be a wheel bearing

  I have jacked up the car and while spinning the left tire it has a soft metal on metal sound. Similar to sound when your brakes are rubbing but only had it on that tire

  If you had to guess would you say it would be the drivers side one?

  yes if you feel it or hear it on driver side it most likely is if u jack it up and spin tire with ur hands u should feel it binding or it will feel ruff when spinning it
