  Disconnect the tan/black wire that is located where the heater box and carpet meet on the passenger side floor (under the instrument panel and then with the vehicle fully warmed up connect a timing light to the #1 spark plug wire (st cylinder in the front - driver side is #1) and the point the light at the tab above the harmonic balancer. Loosen the distributor mounting bolt and rotate the distributor housing in the direction needed to line up the marks at 0 degrees.
