Jimm 5/26/2014First step - have the A/C system discharged by an a/c technician - if the system is not yet empty. Be sure to use line wrenches for the a/c line fittings to prevent damage to the fittings.
Second step - remove the radiator cooling fans assembly. Third, remove the radiator. Next, loosen and remove the a/c line connections from the a/c condenser. Remove the condenser.
The installation is the reverse of the removal steps. Be sure to replace the receiver / dryer unit at the same time as the condenser. Have the a/c system vacuumed before the recharging / refilling step.
The parts are readily available from these many on-line sources, www.partsgeek.com, www.rockauto.com, www.discountautoparts.com, www.autopartswarehouse.com, www.jcwhitney.com - to list only a few possibilities. In fact, they (RockAuto) list the a/c condenser from around $60.00 for your vehicle.
