how much oill or transmission fluid is needed after replacing cv joint for manual transmission

i replace the cv joint on my vehicle and it is a manual transmission, don't know if its uses oil or transmission fluid, and how much to use to refill it after repairin cv joint

  You'll need to refill the transmission to replace what may have been lost due to the repair. Just refill the transmission to the proper level with the 5W-30 manual transmission fluid (MTF).
