how to fix heater problem no heat will come out of vents when engine is warmed up

i put a water hose and water comes out heater core from other hose so water is circulaing through the core

  If you are thinking of cleaning the heater core then add CLR to the red and leve it in there for half an hour then drain all water, changing the thermostat and filling up with antifreez you should have good heat, make sure all the air is out of the rad system.
