how do I get to the connector to change a tail light harness?

I have the tail light apart, but am not sure how to get to the connector which is inside the body.

  Usually, you can reach the tail light connector through the tail light mounting hole - once the tail light assembly is removed from the body. There is usually enough wire length on the harness to pull some of the wire length through the mounting hole to reach the connector.
