Spoon Sports 11/11/2011The adjuster nut is connected to components of the parking brake lever. You will need to remove the plastic cover inside the vehicle to access it. Looking down you will see the cables coming to each side of the equalizer. The adjuster nut is in between the cables on the equalizer. The proper stroke (or height) for the lever of your vehicle is 6 clicks (the noise made when you pull up). Tighten the nut and then check the stroke. Multiple adjustments may need to be made.
If the proper adjustment can't be made, you may need to replace the cable (s). There are no manual adjustments to be made in the rear wheels, the cables self adjust when the lever is adjusted and the foot brake is applied.
