1997 Ford F-150 XLT 8Cyl4.6L - Body & Interior
how do you access the heater/AC blend door...mine only partially changes..won't heat ery much..

    Remove the floor duct panel.
    ~Remove the two plastic pushpins (one on each side) and release the expander clip.
    Remove the RH instrument panel brace.
    ~Remove the lower nut.
    ~Remove the upper bolt.
    ~Remove the brace.
    Remove the LH instrument panel lower nut and position the brace out of the way.
    Remove the floor duct.
    ~Remove the two screws (one each side)
    ~Remove the floor duct.
    Remove the electronic actuator.
    ~Disconnect the electrical connector.
    ~Remove the three screws.
    ~Pull down to release the actuator shaft and remove the electronic actuator.
    To install, reverse the procedure.

    I had the same problem with my heater not delivering hot air. I had a bad radiator thermostat.I replaced it and that solved the problem.
