1995 Honda Civic del Sol Si 4Cyl1.6L - Engine
What does Honda recommend? I say its 87 regular, she insists it should should be 89 ethanol, end our squabble please!!

    87 Regular...Ethanol is worthless (Personal Experience, we have this gas station with this Eco crap initiative which has this E10 Unleaded) I spent more fuel per gallon, my car was slower (a bit, less pick up on acceleration).

    There even was a news being spread when it was first released that ethanol damages the engine

    damn sorry yo id have to agree it would have to be 89 or higher.... i personally prefer 91

    I use 87 in everything I own and I don't do much to my vehicles but I know plenty of people who use ethanol that are taking there cars to the shop, so I'll stick with 87
