1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT 6Cyl3.4L - Engine

Hey, my car gets hot n i replaced the thermostat n flush the radiator. but the fans only work with the a/c ?

180.000 mil. but after the fans came on i turn the a/c off
n the fans run slow, but the car still gets hot. what can i do? thanks

  You got to check the Electric Relay which controls the Fan. I am not sure about the Pontiac, but its generally a 5 pin relay unit in the Older car models and relatively cheaper to replace. The port/Pin which takes the input from the Thermostat must be faulty.
