I can hear a winding noise when I accelerate, any ideas what this can be.?

  You have to detail this further like where the noise is coming from. You did not even give a clue here. Under the hood, right rear? Can you make the noise happen even o=if the car is parked and just runnng. Will it make the noise by just giving it throttle but not actually driving the car?
