Customer Concern: Gurgling noise in the heater core when driving or revving the engine. Like water is sloshing around.
Tests/Procedures: 1. Verify the pressure cap is holding proper pressure.
2. Remove the hoses to the heater core and verify a solid stream of coolant flow to the core with the engine idling. Using a piece of clear plastic hose (available at most hardware stores) between the two heater hoses is the neat way to check flow.
3. Flush or replace the heater core and flush the cooling system if dirty.
