what causes headlamps not to come on at night. when car is in gear.

headlamps were working but just stop working. they come on in the day time. but not at night. is there a sensor that control that.

  There are two lamp monitor control modules, they both connected to the lamp control module ( LCM ). One of them must be malfunctioned.

  CVO,thank you that tip was very helpful. I was wondering what control the lamps at night.
  Now is this under the dash board and is this something a first timer can do.
