2001 Chevrolet Impala Base 6Cyl3.4L - Brakes
grinding in rear when stopping
when i brake at low to semi low speeds usually around 30 or lower or after driving for a bit and stopping a few times it goes away but i get a grinding in the rear of my vehicle i think its the rear brakes but i wanna pretty much make sure that its nothing major before i get those replaced

    From the info it is your back brakes that grinding sound is metal to metal one side of your brake pads is worn down as far as they go you should really change them out before you have to do the calipers too hope this help
