  The fuel (gas) guage is located on the instrument panel - near the speedometer and the other guages. The fuel level sending unit is located inside the fuel tank. If the fuel guage on the instrument panel is OK, then you'll need to replace the fuel level sending unit.
  Not difficult task, you'll need to drop the fuel tank. Try the 'How-To-Guides' feature on the AutoMD website for the specific steps.
