why does my fuel pump moduals start clicking repeatedly when key is turned but pump dont always come on

i replaced the fuel pump when i try to turn on the vehicle after turning key i hear the modual click it eather takes a while and the pump will eventually tuen on or the moduals start clicking over and over till it turns on but now that its cold it won't turn on at all when the pump does turn on finally if it does the check ingine light will come on not before

  Perform a fuel pressure test to check if the fuel pump indeed delivers fuel to the fuel lines. Diagnose what the check engine has to say. To learn how to perform fuel pressure test, click the link below.

  i know its not getting pressure the pump isnt turning on it only turns on after the modual goes nuts and clicks over and over after it does that the pump sometimes turns on and the jeep will start im trying to figure out why the pump wont turn on everytime

  where is that located is that in the cluster by the battery

  In the junction box inside the engine compartment, and yes perhaps it besides the battery. It has a diagram under its cover when you removed it, F/P or F/Pump.

  thank you i dont have the cover and i have replaced it but im thinking it still is bad its not too expencive to replace thankfully thanks for your advice ill try that

  You're welcome, the relay is not that expensive to buy
