1992 Dodge B250 Base 6Cyl3.9L - Engine

new fuel intermittently inoperative

new fuel pump installed. pump operates initially with key on, will start & stall. when I power it up with a power probe engine will start & restart several times, then the problem starts all over again.

  How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? Are you saying, with the power probe, it will start and stay running, drive ok?
  
  Usually, with computer controlled engine, after the prime, if computer doesn't see an rpm signal, the vehicle will die.
