1980 Jeep CJ5 Renegade 8Cyl5.0L - Engine

fuel gauge shows full all ofthe time

I am restoring a 1978. I have replaced all wiring & grounds all well as the fuel sensor a gauge. gauge continues to show full.

  Ground the wire at the sending unit for the gauge and see if gauge makes a sweep to the opposite side. if no movement then the fuel gauge is no good or there is an open circuit leading to the gauge. I cannot tell you the wire color because my listings of wiring diagrams do not go back to 78 or even 80.
