2001 Nissan Quest SE 6Cyl3.3L - Body & Interior
Why does the front heater blower speed control resistor keep burning out.
I have replaced the blower speed control resistor 4 or 5 times and each time it only lasts for a few weeks and then burns out so that the blower only works on high speed. Is it likely that the motor is at fault?

Usually means that the blower motor itself, even though it seeming is working fine, it is drawing too much current which overheats the resistor ass'y. If it were me I would buy a genuine Nissan blower motor.
