expieriencing slipping of the transmission, It started after I was backing down a slight incline, it felt like I hit
something, I shifted in to drive and the D gear light was flashing and thats when the slipping began, reverse seems fine, just slippage in drive. I immediatly parked the car and towed it to my chevy dealership, any idea what and how serious this problem is?

Bill 3/2/2013If you didn't come to a complete stop before shifting into drive you may have torn up the tranny.
