raoul_tiesto 5/15/2012I seen water pumps leaking at 10,000 miles others last 150,000 miles. There its no maintenance u do to a water pump, other than checking the drive belts and replacing coolant.Coolant should be done on a regular basis, as per the manufacturer recommendations. Check your owners manual for the maintenance schedule.Clean coolant helps minimize corrosion inside cooling system.Dirty or contaminated coolant may cause the water pump seal to fail and cause a leak.
