  You can go somewhere like Autozone and they can pull the codes for you using a OBDII scan tool and it will tell you what the codes mean but it only points you in the general direction. For instance, P1178 means "ETS Motor Battery Voltage Open". A tech would still have to put it on a machine to find out exactly what is wrong.
