1994 Honda Civic DX 4Cyl1.5L - Engine

My engine sometimes shakes and the RPM's with rise and fall when i stop. Could it just be that it needs a tune up?

It rattles kind of and idk what it possibly could. I know it needs an oil change which I am doing this week. Could that be causing all the problem?

  Old oil in the engine would not cause it to shake or the idle speed to change. It could be an idle air control valve that needs cleaned or replaced. It could be a vacuum leak. It could be that you do need a good tune up that replaces the spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap and rotor.
