1996 Dodge Dakota Sport 4Cyl2.5L - Preventive Maintenance
Engine runs normally and does not overheat but my radiator fan kicks on a lot while driving.
Mileage - 180,000. I use Z-Max microlubricant in my oil and temp gauge always stays within low/normal limits. While driving, radiator fan kicks on and off repeatedly, which started about two months ago. Is there possibly a sensor that has gone bad?

Several possibilties; low coolant level in the radiator, incorrect coolant mixture (not at recommended 50/50 anti-freeze and water mixture), faulty cooling fan switch, faulty cooling fan temperature sensor, faulty cooling fan wiring or connections.
