2000 Chevrolet Blazer LT 6Cyl4.3L - Engine
dye when weather is hot Ihave to wait half hour to start the engine run half mile and dye again

    Is the check engine light present in the dashboard? If yes get it scanned to retrieve the stored trouble codes and post them here. Possible causes of this is bad ignition coil/s, defective engine coolant sensor, or a defective knock sensor. Verify those trouble with a diagnostic tool.

    could also be a stopped up cat

    you might want to check your coolant and your thermostat. either could be bad
